Amnesia: The Dark Descent is a first person survival horror game for Windows, Mac & Linux. Amnesia was released on the 8th of September 2010 and is be available from most major online stores, as well as our own tiny little online store.

Try opening the permissions of the file (right click -> Properties -> Permissions) and making it executable, then double-click on it.

Thats for windows.
To user this in Linux (As its meant)
Right click select properties,
Go to permissions,
Then click "Allow to run as program" or something similair depending on you build.
Now I use terminal to unpack it but you can use whatever you like.

how run?
A way: right button, properties, permission, run permisson, ok. two clicks
or
console,
cd DIR (where DIR is the directory where you download it)
chmod +x amnesia.sh (where amnesia.sh is the file name)
./amnesia.sh

hmmm ... this link let download a EXE, a Windows-Program - nice adaware
but ... the main reason ... WOW, thats a so cool (but apprehension) game - i will buy that (the water-monster ... i've done the Level and the Demo ends - 1-A !! desire for more)
